Why Our Highway Corridors Are the Ultimate Universal Solution

Super Volt is not just building chargers — we’re creating the backbone for electric mobility in the Philippines.
Our highway corridors (Intercity for cars/light vehicles and Heavy-Duty for buses/semis) are the ultimate universal solution — one infrastructure, one design, endless possibilities.
Here’s why they stand out as the future of nationwide EV charging:
One System for All Vehicles
The same corridor hardware serves everyone:
Passenger cars and light EVs — seamless top-ups at highway speeds.
Buses and semi-trucks — powerful bursts to sustain long hauls with smaller, lighter batteries.
No separate lanes, no different corridors — just smart modulation that detects the vehicle and delivers exactly what it needs.
Fast, Safe, and Powerful
Up to 150 kW sustained power per section — full charge equivalent in ~9.9 minutes at 60 mph for passenger cars.
Bursts up to 180 kW for heavy-duty vehicles — perfect for topping up large batteries (100 kWh+) during high-speed passes.
All power is safely capped by the vehicle’s BMS — no risk of overcharging or battery damage.
This means:
Cars get ~67 km range added one-way (capped).
Heavies get ~24 km sustain/boost one-way (capped) — enabling smaller batteries, more payload, and 40–60% savings vs. diesel.
Why It’s Universal & Future-Proof
One hardware platform: Same 20-coil sections, same roadside barrier embedding, same inverter setup — only software modulation changes.
Redundancy built in: Multiple inverters per section mean if one has an issue, the corridor keeps running at reduced power.
Grid-friendly: Short bursts and spread-out load avoid massive substation upgrades.
Scalable nationwide: Start with 8 km pilots, expand every 125 km for cars/light vehicles and every 450 km for heavies — connecting cities, provinces, and ports.
These corridors are the end-game solution — the infrastructure that can serve every EV on Philippine roads, from e-trikes to long-haul semis, without building separate systems.
The Big Picture
Imagine a Philippines where:
No more range anxiety on long drives.
Fleets run cheaper and cleaner.
Every highway becomes a charging lane.
Businesses along routes thrive with more traffic.
That’s the power of Super Volt highway corridors — one universal design, infinite impact.
