Zhangwu County turned 500 MW of desert into a solar farm + wildlife sanctuary. They’re using wireless sensors to monitor soil health — no cables.
China's solar energy projects have not only transformed deserts into energy hubs but also played a significant role in environmental conservation and restoration. The Great Solar Wall in Inner Mongolia is a prime example, generating 48 billion kWh of clean energy annually and contributing to desertification control. The Xinjiang solar plant has produced enough electricity to power homes in major U.S. cities, while the Tengger Desert project has been approved as the first of its kind in China's desert and Gobi areas. These projects not only provide clean energy but also help stabilize shifting sand dunes, encourage vegetation growth, and create economic opportunities in historically neglected regions.

Super Volt does the same: charge while driving, restore while rolling.
